Fishing is good early, late and during the night. Fish are well distributed with large numbers suspended at 20-25 feet in deeper cooler water (40-60 feet) over flats, and can be caught trolling crankbaits 20 feet deep.
Greers Ferry Lake is home to some of the biggest walleye ever caught. Over the years, there have been several walleye caught over 20 pounds and the state record at 22 pounds, 11 ounces.
